Another Charlotte-area company has landed a deal with investors on the TV show "Shark Tank." The founders of Mooresville-based startup Sheets Laundry Club appeared on the Nov. 19 episode of the popular reality TV program.

Co-founder and CEO Chris Videau talked with Charlotte Inno last week about Sheets' products and the experience of getting ready for the pitch — but he couldn't reveal just yet whether a deal was made. The company makes laundry supplies and other household products that are free of plastics and friendly to the environment.

Videau and business partner Chris Campbell walked away from their "Shark Tank" with an investment of $500,000 from "guest shark" Daniel Lubetzky, founder of KIND Snacks and SOMO Foods, The Charlotte Observer reported. In exchange, Lubetzky gets 8 percent equity and 2 percent in advisory shares, according to the daily newspaper.

This marks the latest of several Charlotte-area businesses to get a boost after appearing on the show. TheMagic5, which makes custom goggles for competitive swimmers, landed a $1 million deal last month. And, back in the spring, protective electronic case creator Phoozy snagged a $500,000 investment.
