Think – how long is your to-do list? And how many of those tasks do you not want to do or simply do not have time for?

That’s what Work-Life Solutions Concierge, a Greensboro-based lifestyle management company, aims to help with – it wants to take on people’s to-do lists so that they are happier and more productive. The company offers a range personalized errand-running and personal assistant services, including office organization, gift shopping, wrapping and delivery, and courier services.

Founded in 2018 by Donielle Eakin, Work-Life Solutions Concierge recently completed the LaunchLab Growth accelerator program and Monday night, at Launch Greensboro’s Demo Day, Eakin was awarded a guaranteed spot in Capital Connects, an annual pitch event that connects investors with companies raising capital.

During her pitch, Eakin explained that the target market for Work-Life Solutions Concierge includes busy people, executives and seniors in a B2C model. She also is looking to expand in to a B2B model by allowing companies to offer the service as a perk to employees or residential buildings to offer the service as a perk to residents.

“On average, every day two and a half hours are spent handling non-work-related tasks,” Eakin said. “With millennials taking over the workforce, why not add something that’s going to add value to their life because they’re going to leave a job that’s not work-life-enhancing.”

Launch Greensboro’s Demo Day event featured the 11 companies who completed the 14-week LaunchLab Growth accelerator program. Each entrepreneur delivered a pitch and then tabled with their product or service for attendees to visit. A panel of six judges assessed each entrepreneurs’ pitch and tabling skills to decide who would be given the guaranteed spot at Capital Connects.
