Nine Triad companies make 2021 Inc. 5000 list

Nine Triad companies are among the 5,000 fastest-growing in the country, according to the 2021 Inc. 5000 rankings.

Joining 4,991 other companies across the country, the Triad businesses shared in adding 610,000 jobs over the past three years, experienced an average median three-year growth of 543% with a median revenue of $11.1 million.

Across North Carolina, the 127 companies ranked experienced 184% median growth, generated $4.3 billion and added 12,705 new jobs. Among the three Triad metros, the nine honorees experienced 140%  median growth, generated $289.2 million in revenue and added 398 new jobs.

Triad companies ranked include:

• Guerrilla RF of Greensboro, No. 480. Founded in 2013, Guerrilla RF designs high-performance monolithic microwave integrated circuit equipment. Down from No. 421 in 2020 with a 990% three-year growth.

• Hello Seven of Summerfield, No. 981. Founded in 2012, Hello Seven is a women-run company specializing in business, marketing, financial and legal training. Debuting in the Inc. with a 500% three-year growth.

• EmberTribe of Greensboro, No. 1,384. Founded in 2015, EmberTribe is a marketing agency specializing in paid media, focused particularly on the direct-to-consumer e-commerce space. Debuting in Inc. 5000 with a 343% three-year growth.

• Fulton & Roark of Winston-Salem, No. 2,055. Founded in 2013, Fulton and Roark is a fragrance and body care company providing long-lasting fragrance, cleanliness and healthy skin for men. Debuting in the Inc. 5000 with 214% three-year growth.

• Stratagon of High Point, No. 2,827. Founded in 2005, Stratagon is an advertising and marketing firm that helps clients reach their goals by leveraging communication, data analytics and technology. Debuting in the Inc. 5000 with a 140% three-year growth

• Convergence Technologies of Mebane, No. 3,489. Founded in 2017, Convergence Technologies designs and installs home audio and video, lighting control, video surveillance and security and alarm systems for residential and commercial customers. Debuting in the Inc. 5000 with 98% 3-year growth.

• Worldwide Insurance Network of Greensboro, No. 3,912. Founded in 1994, Worldwide Insurance is an independent insurance agency network servicing personal, commercial, life, excess, surplus and specialty lines markets. Down from No. 3,798 in 2020 with 80% three-year growth

• Graphic Components of Greensboro, No. 4,044. Founded in 2006, Graphic Components fabricates interior signs to sell to sign companies at wholesale. Debuting in Inc. 5000 with 63% three-year growth.

• Stake Center Location of Greensboro, No. 4,641. Founded in 1997, Stake Center Location is a fiber optic, gas, and general utility locating company operating in 48 states. Ranked 1,942 in 2019 and unranked in 2020 with 54% three-year growth.

The highest-ranking company in North Carolina is QC Kinetix of Charlotte, which at No. 62 has experienced a three-year growth of 5,823%. The provider of comprehensive regenerative, non-surgical pain-management therapies operates a clinic in Greensboro.
