A Greensboro-based IT services and networking company has continued its aggressive behavior into 2021 and expanded its footprint in the southeast with its first Florida acquisition.

Dynamic Quest has acquired BoxMeta, a company that offers IT management, disaster recovery and hosting services across a variety of verticals founded in 2001 in Jacksonville, Florida.

Backed by NYC private equity firm Spire Capital since Q2 2018, this transaction is the sixth pickup Dynamic Quest has made since its partnership with Spire.

“The main thing is geographic growth,” said Javier Gomez, Dynamic Quest CEO. “This takes us into Florida.”

The majority of BoxMeta's revenue is recurring with a strong, loyal customer base. The BoxMeta team members will join Dynamic Quest and continue to serve the Florida market.

“Dynamic Quest continues to grow organically and strategically acquiring businesses to better serve our clients and partners,” Gomez said.

“David and Luisa Russoman at BoxMeta have done a fantastic job building up a great company that provides its customers with dependable and critical IT services."

The Russomans said they are thrilled to be joining Dynamic Quest due to the company's strong reputation for reliability and “expectational service.”

“Both our team and customers look forward to the significant benefits we'll soon be delivering throughout a much broader geographic region," they said in a statement.

The transaction will provide Dynamic Quest with the ability to cross-sell products and services to BoxMeta's customer base.

Dynamic Quest looks to leverage its infrastructure, including its data center, centralized delivery team as well as sales and marketing initiatives, to enhance service solutions for end clients and accelerate growth.

In January, Gomez said the goal for Dynamic Quest is to double in size in the next two years, an achievement the company had already accomplished in September 2020

The goal is still a priority for the company, as Gomez said Dynamic Quest will not be slowing down anytime soon.

“I suspect this will be a big year for us,” Gomez said.
