2022 yielded some early fundraising successes and affirmation from angel investors for Winston-Salem health care startup NVOLVE, which offers remote patient monitoring by providing patients with a device and doctors with software to track health statistics.

CEO Tom Frosheiser did not respond to requests for updates on what the rest of 2022 delivered, but TBJ previously reported that NVOLVE received two investments this past year from the Winston-Salem Partners Roundtable (WSPR) Fund, a local angel group. It received an undisclosed amount in January, and then another investment from the WSPR Fund in May.

The capital will enable NVOLVE to accelerate and broaden our sales growth in 2022 and the WSPR network will be a valuable partner as we continue to hire, innovate and scale our operations to help more patients and providers in more locations and in more physician specialties,” Frosheiser said in January.

A filing with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission from May 10, 2022, shows the company raised $399,769 in equity from 16 investors, although it does not list the identity of the investors and whether or not they are connected to the WSPR Fund.
