August
• Austin-based Jobs.com acquired HireVergence, a Tampa-based IT and cybersecurity recruiting company.
• Chicago-based Motorola acquired Callyo, the St. Petersburg cloud-based application provider.
• Das Health Ventures Inc., a Tampa-based health information technology service provider, acquired New Hampshire-based Technology Seed LLC.
• Mad Mobile Inc., a Tampa-based mobile platform for enterprise restaurants and retailers, acquired Silicon Valley-based CAKE in August. It is a restaurant tech company owned by Sysco Corp..

• Michigan-based Pro-Vision Solutions snapped up Zone Defense LLC, a St. Petersburg tech company.
October
• Spectrio, a Tampa-based audio visual marketing company, acquired Pennsylvania-based Industry Weapon in October.
• Trash Butler, which was created by College Hunks Hauling Junk founders, made its first acquisition with Texas-based WellKept in October.
November
• ConnectWise, a Tampa-based software giant, acquired Tampa IT company Perch Security in November.
December
• Massachusetts-based Imprivata bought FairWarning, a Clearwater security company with a specialty in protecting electronic health records.
• Spectrio, which made its own acquisition in October, was acquired by New York-based private equity firm The Jordan Co. for an undisclosed amount.
• St. Petersburg-based The Penny Hoarder was acquired by Clearlink, a subsidiary of Sykes Enterprises (NASDAQ:SYKE). Penny Hoarder is a personal finance digital media company and its stock will be purchased for$102.5 million.
