While tech companies in Tampa Bay are known for their innovation, the product isn't the only thing getting outside the box. Here are some of the top enviable offices across Tampa Bay. HOMEE
The office for the Tampa-based property maintenance platform with a growing number of investments spans across 6,506 square feet. The space, which houses 44 employees, is "modern and fresh, much like our product," Kiera Chocola said.
The office has multiple gaming opportunities from a Ping Pong table to a basketball net, as well as monthly yoga classes for those looking to get a bit more relaxed. After working out, employees can head to the break room which includes a Nespresso machine and Flow Water machine.
The Penny Hoarder
The St. Pete-based Penny Hoarder has the entire top floor of 490 1st Ave. S., spanning 23,000 square feet and was built out from shell condition.
The Penny Hoarder’s office is broken down into rooms either named after historical figures,(Tubman, Lincoln and Kennedy, for example), twists on personal finance (The Piggy Bank and Capital Hill) or local inspiration (the St. Pete Room). The office is decorated with local art throughout.
A favorite among staffers is the indoor park. It includes artificial turf flooring, company-branded yoga mats and beanbag chairs. The space is used as both a lounge area and work space for those who wish to step away from their desk.
Diamond View Studios
Diamond View is located just off I-275 on Bearss Ave. in Tampa and can be easily spotted by its 'Dream Big' mural which was created to inspire the surrounding community.
Inside, you'll find hidden doors that blend into the walls or that appear to be trophy shelves. With an in-house production studio that's used on a regular basis, there's no shortage of fun props, fog machines and special effects lighting. But beyond all the bells and whistles, Diamond View has office space that is equal parts functional and cool.
"The office space mirrors the company and its culture by providing a creative space that promotes the sharing of new ideas and dreaming big," Zoe Seroky said. "We're constantly iterating and innovating for ourselves and for our clients. Similarly, our office space is always evolving to include creative elements and spaces that keep us on our toes and challenge Diamond View to think out-of-the-box."
