KnowBe4 may be a tech company nearing billion dollar unicorn territory, but there's another thing that makes the company noteworthy: its enviable office.
KnowBe4, a cybersecurity and awareness company, is located in two buildings across six floors, with over 90K of square feet in Clearwater, 33 N Garden Avenue. The buildings house about 650 employees, which are growing in numbers every day.
Erika Lance, senior vice president of People Operations for the company, said even though KnowBe4 is a tech company, it's important to foster creativity and a sense of openness within the office.
"I've been to a lot of corporate offices and I think a lot of people forget the creative dynamic team environment," she said. "You have to feel like you're a team; you don’t feel like that if you walk through a series of offices where the doors are closed. If you have a door closed it stops you. And also to see the top executive is absolutely engaged with everyone, that shows the team dynamic."
