Tampa-based Cyber Security Solutions and IBM have announced a partnership to protect global critical infrastructure and strategic defense organizations.

CSS and IBM are developing an integrated security service to safeguard organizations against the next generation of cyber threats, including artificial intelligence-based and quantum-based attacks. No financial details of the partnership were disclosed.

CSS noted that organizations are facing challenges when implementing regular cybersecurity.

“We asked ourselves, how will they ever get around to tomorrow’s challenges, like AI-based cyberattacks that can evolve quickly, or quantum-based cyberattacks that make traditional cybersecurity obsolete,” said Horacio Maysonet, CEO and president of CSS.

To solve this challenge, CSS reached out to IBM to form an exclusive partnership. The collaboration combines CSS’ technology with IBM’s Watson AI and advanced quantum-resistant cryptography, allowing organizations to safeguard data and infrastructure.

“This partnership represents cutting-edge technology while maintaining affordability, confidentiality, trust, security, efficiency and readiness to combat malicious actors 24/7/365 across pre-quantum, quantum and post-quantum computing,” said Business Development Leader at IBM Juan Perez in a statement.

CSS provides a suite of security hardware, software and training, along with applicable policies, all backed by continuous monitoring and help desk services. IBM provides global hybrid cloud, AI and consulting expertise. The company has clients in over 175 countries.
