Advantive, a Tampa-based software provider for specialty manufacturing and distribution businesses, is now under new leadership.
Kevin Boyce will take over as the company's CEO, replacing Benoit de la Tour, who has held the position since 2022.
Boyce has served as the CEO of Higher Logic, where he integrated and scaled six companies to better the customers, employees and business as a whole. Before that, he was the COO and CFO of Ellucian for over 10 years, scaling the business worldwide from $100 million to $750 million in revenue.
Advantive's executive chairman, Mark Friedman, thinks now is the right time to bring Boyce in because the company is in "a strong position to accelerate growth."

The board recognized the previous CEO for his efforts.
"On behalf of the board, we also want to recognize Benoit for his many contributions to Advantive," added Managing Director Hythem El-Nazer. "Benoit was instrumental in establishing Advantive's mission, building a great leadership team and positioning the company for long-term success. We are now excited to work closely with Kevin on the next phase of Advantive's growth."
Boyce issued a statement about his future in the new role, claiming that he wants to "drive sustainable growth for specialty manufacturing and distribution companies with a focus on delivering customer value and scaling operations to drive success for customers and Advantive."
Advantive provides software for specialty manufacturing and distribution companies, offering purpose-built enterprise resource planning, manufacturing extension systems and statistical process control software. It serves over 5,000 customers and operates in 14 countries.
