Competitions often come down to winning by a fraction of a percent.
This year's Inno Madness, Inno's sixth annual startup competition, closed out with more than strong voter participation. The winner, Tampa startup Fractio, won by more than a fractional amount.
Fractio beat 35 other companies to the win, including regional heavyweights like Deepwatch and A-LIGN. It took home more than 90% of the vote against Tampa startup Reptrics.
CEO and founder Fatin Kwasny started the firm in 2022 to create a platform for connecting startups needing employees. Fractional hiring allows startups access to employees and executives without the costs of permanent employment or hiring.
It now joins names like St. Petersburg-based Bedrock and two-time winner Paragon Cyber Solutions as Inno Madness champions. The winners of this friendly startup competition represent the readers' interests in 2024. In fact, fractional hiring, particularly for C-suite roles, has become prevalent in startups recently.
