Vu Technologies, the Tampa production firm known for its massive LED screens, has expanded its network of studios worldwide.

The move comes after several years of growth and continues the studio’s expansion plans. The company has added 16 new studios, many of them in major cities internationally. The expansion studios opened through a partnership process, a company spokesperson said. It also marks a part of the company’s goals: to be a go-to for virtual production internationally.

“At the heart of today’s studio network expansion is a commitment to making virtual production more accessible around the world as well as collectively pushing the boundaries of what’s possible in the creative industry for our partners and clients,” Tim Moore, CEO of Vu Technologies, said in a statement.

Each studio was vetted and evaluated with Vu Technologies’ standards to become a studio in the network, according to a release. With the partnership, these markets can access Vu Technologies’ offerings, such as its screens and digital production tools.

The network expansion includes New York; Los Angeles; Toronto; Dallas; Washington, D.C.; Grand Rapids, Michigan; Milwaukee; Mexico City; Tokyo; Barcelona, Spain; Seoul, South Korea; Warsaw, Poland; Berlin; Frankfurt, Germany; Amsterdam and Paris.

Since the expansion, companies have contacted Vu Technologies to connect. A spokesperson said these added network studios are the beginning of broader plans.

Before the partnership expansion, Vu Technologies has spent recent years adding studio locations in Las Vegas, Nashville and Orlando. In 2022, it closed a $17 million funding deal, and in late 2023, it partnered with global consulting firm Accenture through an undisclosed investment.
