Goldman Sachs recognized ReliaQuest founder and CEO Brian Murphy as one of the "Most Exceptional Entrepreneurs of 2023" at the Builders and Innovators Summit in Healdsburg, California this week.

One hundred other entrepreneurs were selected from across various industries. Criteria for selection included being the founder and CEO of a private company that is approximately 1 to 10 years old. The prominent financial institution hosted the 12th annual two-day event on Oct. 18 and 19. The event is comprised of sessions led by entrepreneurs, academics and business leaders.

The companies of these entrepreneurs were deemed to have the best years of growth ahead of them. They were found to be interesting entrepreneurs and companies by Goldman Sachs, according to Sophia Anthony, the vice president of global banking and market communications at Goldman Sachs.

"This award, beyond me, is also a recognition of our ReliaQuest teammates, partners and customers, who have always been willing to do what it takes to make security possible," Murphy said.

Murphy founded ReliaQuest in 2007 and grew the company into one with a valuation of more than $1 billion. It earns more than $200 million in annual recurring revenue and employs more than 1,200 across its six global operating centers, according to a release.
