Dash, a real estate information service, plans to expand throughout Florida in the coming months.

Dash is a Miami-based startup selling a subscription platform that catalogs information about local real estate projects for residential agents. The platform launched in July and has 3,800 subscribers. It's now adding Tampa, St. Petersburg, Orlando, Jacksonville and Naples to its residential portfolio.

Residential projects from Tampa and St. Petersburg will be available online in the next 45 days, said Len Dugow, the founder and CEO of Dash. The addition will post more than 180 projects on the website.

"Tampa and St. Pete, as we begin to fill in the balance of Florida, is the next community that we're bringing online," Dugow said.

The website is free to join and requires a subscription to access the full version. It costs $79 for the subscription. There are currently 157 projects listed on the site with the goal of providing updated, accurate information for salespeople during research. The information included on the website comes directly from developers, he said.

Dugow has been in the marketing and real estate business for over 20 years. He was inspired to create the app after seeing real estate agents' difficulties in finding updated, developer-verified content about properties and projects. He performed dozens of interviews and studied national surveys, he said. He found that people want to get developer information quicker and efficiently with new technologies, and the platform seeks to "bridge the gap" and streamline information sharing between projects and real estate agents.

The business isn't profitable, but it isn't focused on that yet, Dugow said. It's seeking to add new customers and to retain them, and it is funded for the time being, he said.

After expanding throughout Florida, the company plans to reach major cities like New York City and Los Angeles, Dugow said.
