A Tampa company that provides on-demand images and video services has launched a new post-storm service.

Paypixl created StormView, which aims to help Florida homeowners in the aftermath of major storms, according to a release.

“StormView provides a force multiplier to insurance adjusters who have an immediate scaling problem after the storm hits,” said Bobby Quinn, CEO and founder at Paypixl, in the release. “After Ian, it took weeks for some homeowners to see an adjuster. With StormView, that process can get started within the first few days following the storm. We can do more now remotely than ever before with an internet connection; this incentivizes homeowners to evacuate safely and stay away from the affected area, where there is often limited cell signal and fuel, water, and food are scarce.”

StormView will provide free post-hurricane imagery to give homeowners insights into storm damage, enhance community response and potentially support future disasters. Images and videos can then be uploaded to help expedite insurance claims and to connect with contractors.

StormView uses aerial imagery from aircraft and drones to quickly assess damage “all the way to the individual shingle,” the company said.
