Joe Steilberg and Parker Klein, the co-founders of Twos in Tampa, are putting their notetaking app out for hunting.
Twos has launched on Product Hunt, a curated website used to share and discover new products. Users can submit products, which are then listed in a linear format daily, and site visitors can comment and vote on the product to gain attention.
In late 2022, Twos closed a $1.4 million pre-seed round led by TampaBay.Ventures. Twos is a free digital platform where users can take notes — anything from to-do lists to important medical information. There are premium upgrades available.
Klein told Tampa Bay Inno the pair is excited about the launch.
"It’s basically our first kind of world launch, I would say," he said. "We've been preparing, getting all the apps ready — our Android app was the one we were most interested in getting up to par with the IOS before doing this launch. We finally feel like we're in a good place to do this more global launch."
Steilberg said while there's a lot of noise on the internet, Product Hunt has a more niche following.
"It is just a matter of getting to a place where our message, the app and the experience that we want people to have using it feel aligned so that we’re ready to put it out to the masses and let them decide," he said. "Our goal is to put our best foot forward and see if that is rewarded with adoption."
