Eight Tampa Bay tech companies to watch for at CES 2022

The technology and startup industry's annual mega-conference is back, with thousands set to descend on Las Vegas Wednesday.

CES, which runs from Jan. 5 to 8, is a yearly trade show held by the Consumer Technology Association, which brings hundreds of vendors to display their consumer technology products.

What they do: Develop technology solutions in the aviation, automotive and autonomous spaces

Cubios Inc.

Headquartered: North Venice

What they do: Maker of the "Wow Cube" slated for a March launch that is a platform and gaming console

Echo Healthcare

Headquartered: Bradenton

What they do: Manufacturer of simulated products that improve patient outcomes

iPRO Membrane

Headquartered: Naples

What they do: Provider of protective vents to sensitive components and outdoor components

Jabil Inc.

Headquartered: St. Petersburg

What they do: Technology manufacturer and one of Tampa Bay's largest companies

LumixUV

Headquartered: Spring Hill

What they do: Offers robotic point of sale disinfection technology. The co-founder of Spring Hill-based Atmos Homes is also the co-founder of LumixUV.

Masonite

Headquartered: Tampa

What they do: Manufacture interior and exterior technology-enabled doors for residential and commercial use

Vispero

Headquartered: Clearwater

What they do: Technology provider for the visually impaired
