Five Tampa Bay companies have been named among the fastest growing technology companies in North America by Deloitte.

Deloitte released its annual Technology Fast 500 list on Wednesday, which ranks 500 companies in North America based on the percentage of fiscal year revenue growth from 2016 to 2019.

Clearwater-based cybersecurity firm KnowBe4 was the top Tampa Bay company, landing at No. 109 with a reported 1,083 percent growth. It is a significant drop from its 2019 standing, when it was No. 55 with 2,237 percent revenue growth. That major growth occurred, however, when it was valued at over $1 billion after an investment from private equity firm KKR & Co.

Tampa-based ReliaQuest followed, which also made an appearance on the 2019 list. In 2020, the cybersecurity company ranked No. 409 with a 229 percent growth, dipping from a No. 356 ranking in 2019. ReliaQuest most recently made headlines for receiving a $300 million investment from KKR & Co. in August.

The Tampa Bay companies that made the list are:

  • KnowBe4, ranked No. 109, with a reported 1,083 percent growth
  • ReliaQuest, ranked No. 409, with a reported 229 percent growth
  • Venice-based Lightspeed Voice ranked No. 422, with a reported 222 percent growth
  • Tampa-based Corestream ranked No. 431, with a reported 217 percent growth
  • Land O' Lakes Trxade Group Inc. ranked No. 457, with a reported 200 percent growth

MAS Global Consulting, a Palm Harbor-based software company, ranked at No. 384 in 2019 with a 242 percent growth but was absent from this year's list.

Fort Lauderdale-based ShipMonk was among the top Florida companies in the 2020 rankings, landing at No. 73 on the overall list. Orlando-based Fattmerchant was No. 118. California-based Arrowhead Pharmaceuticals, Inc. topped the overall list, with more than 106,000 percent in overall growth.
