Telepathy Labs, a Tampa-based IT company, has raised $6.6 million, according to an SEC filing.

The company provides interactive voice and chat-bot technology to help customers "turn communication into action." It works across a variety of industries, including aviation, construction, engineering and real estate. It was founded in 2016.

According to the company's website, Telepathy Labs is operating in stealth mode while launching products for Fortune 500 companies. It specifically provides clients the ability to manage data, workflow and other systems using a predictive conversational "agent."

This is not the first funding round for the company: in 2017, the company raised $1.5 million in March, $2.5 in September and $3 million in October. In 2018, the company raised an additional $335,000.

The latest fund was backed by 89 investors, according to the filing.

The funding rounds out the last of several funding deals in Q2, which totaled $30 million, according to the latest Pitchbook report.
