Add another coworking option to the list, Tampanians.
In the past two months alone, WeWork and Embarc Collective have opened, joining more than a dozen coworking options in the city for entrepreneurs.
And now DeskPass has come on the scene, allowing the plethora of coworking options to be further utilized.
DeskPass follows a similar model to ClassPass, a subscription-based offering which lets users hop from workout class to class versus settling down at one gym. Chicago-based DeskPass has chosen Tampa to launch its 19th location.
“We are very excited to bring Deskpass to Tampa,” Sam Rosen, cofounder and CEO of Deskpass, said in a statement. “Demand for flexible work options in the area is growing, and there are more options than ever to choose from. Deskpass allows you to try multiple locations to find the coworking space that fits your needs and personality, without having to make a pricey long-term commitment.”
At the launch, Pipeline Workspaces and both Office Evolution spaces have signed on for DeskPass. The subscription also allows users to utilze any participating coworking spaces across the platform's 19 cities.
The "mini" plan is $49 per month for four visits. There is also a "part-time" plan for $99/month and eight visits or $199/month for 20 times a month. Unused days roll over to the next month.
“Millions of Americans now work remotely, and while some are happy to work at home, many people prefer a more active, communal and inspiring environment,” Rosen, who founded the company in 2015, said. “We partner with a wide variety of providers...making it a fantastic way to explore coworking and connect with a vibrant community of other remote workers."
