Every year, thousands of startups head to Las Vegas for entrepreneurs' own version of Disney World: the CES Conference.
The conference, which runs from January 7-10, is a yearly trade show from the Consumer Technology Association, which brings hundreds of vendors to display their consumer technology products.

Based in: Clearwater
What they do: It began as a one-stop distributor of car audio installation supplies and now is a provider of audio and video products. In 2002 it was acquired by ICV Capital Partners.
Based in: Tampa
What they do: wired and wireless headphones and speakers
Based in: Belleair Bluffs, Pinellas County
What they do: Tampa Bay Inno previously wrote a profile on Envision Body, which uses artificial intelligence and augmented reality to let people see "enhanced" versions of themselves to gain motivation for health and fitness goals.
Based in: Bradenton
What they do: The company is a supplier of protective vents used in electronics, medical devices and automotive purposes. It also has cartridge type cooling filters.
Based in: St. Petersburg
What they do: Both Jabil Automotive & Transportation and Jabil Packaging Solutions will have a presence at the conference. While not exactly a startup at this point, Jabil is one of the city's largest public owned companies. It is a long-time, large-scale player in the supply chain industry for tech manufacturing.
Based in: Tampa
What they do: Manufactures interior and exterior doors for residential and commercial units, along with door components and door entry systems.
Based in: Clearwater
What they do: A software application that provides an all-in-one system to remotely access, manage and support electronics including computers and mobile devices.
Based in: Clearwater
What they do: A real-time global communication platform which offers the ILA, or Instant Language Assistant. The assistant allows users to have more natural conversation and translate it in over 120 languages and dialects.
Based in: Clearwater
What they do: Provide hardware and assistive software for the visually impaired. Its offerings include electronic magnifiers and refreshable braille displays.
