The cybersecurity industry in Tampa Bay continues to boom, this time with a $15 million investment from Atlanta.

Digital Hands, a cybersecurity company that prevents, detects and responds to cybersecurity threats, received the investment Tuesday morning in a round led by VC firm Fulcrum Equity Partners, according to an SEC filing.

This is the first major investment for the company. The filing states this investment is not a result of an acquisition or merger.

According to the filing, Frank Dalton and James Douglass are both directors for Digital Hands, as well as partners at Atlanta-based Fulcrum Equity Partners.

Representatives at Digital Hands were unable to be reached for comment. The company did not disclose their revenue in the filing.
