8 Exhibitors that Impressed Us at Synapse Summit

The 2019 Synapse Summit had a lot to offer in terms of innovation, from blcokchain incubators to paleo-friendly foods.

With more than 5,000 attendees, 300 exhibitors and 60 different "breakout sessions" of panels and showcases, there was plenty to consume at the innovation conference in the Amalie Arena in downtown Tampa these past two days.

A few exhibition booths really caught our eye here at Tampa Bay Inno, and we wanted to share what we saw with you---just in case you weren't able to make it. Here are the eight Synapse Summit exhibitors that impressed us this year.

1. Fruutfull

Nearly 80 percent of women are wearing the wrong bra size. Fruutfull aims to change that. The company provides personalization and simplification for bra shopping, allowing women to customize their proper bra size down to the exact centimeter they need. "Fruutfull was founded on the idea that size shouldn't have a limitation on style," CEO Ellery Linder said.

2. BlockSpaces

Ever wish your work buddies would invite you out to lunch? Or are you simply tired of eating salads alone at your desk? Enter Lunchpool, the app that connects you to lunchmates. Currently the company is rolling out a private beta with a few companies in Tampa, which matches coworkers based on preference of food and conversation. The team hopes to launch a public version of the app, which will allow users to customize their lunch group based on food, topics and other customizations. "We think people should have lunch with other human beings," co-founder Alex Abell said.

4. Stuby

We feature innovative brands that are socially conscious, and many of our brands are female-and minority-run companies." The company is currently raising a $2 million round in the next 12-18 months in order to reach a minimum of 150 boutique customers.

Florez was in charge of finding recipes and snacks her mother could eat, and started designing keto and paleo diet friendly muffins, cookies and other sweet snacks---her mother's vices. The mission of Yummi Foods is to spread health and happiness, Florez said, and the company is hoping to offer dry mixes in the future so customers can make their own snacks at home.
