What you missed at Tampa Bay Inno's 22 Startups to Watch event (Photos)

More than 100 players in the Tampa Bay ecosystem kicked off the region's innovation week at Tampa Bay Inno's annual Startups to Watch event.

The third iteration was held Feb. 14 at the Westshore Grand Hotel, bringing entrepreneurs, investors and startup supporters under one roof.

The event highlighted the 22 startups tapped by Tampa Bay Inno for its annual Startups to Watch list. They were featured in a science fair-esque set up of table booths, allowing attendees to chat with the co-founders and learn more about what makes them ones to watch.

A panel featuring Aharon Chernin, CEO of Rewst; Sheffie Robinson, CEO of Shamrck; and Angela Benmassaoud, VP of People at Qure4U followed the table exhibition. It touched on everything from the pros to the local ecosystem (willingness to work together) to funding (bootstrap first, then seek it out when you're ready to grow).
