Arrington is best known for her accomplishments as a chef, restaurateur, entrepreneur and TV personality, with her most recent show being Fox’s "Next Level Chef" with Gordon Ramsay.

Reality cooking show host and judge Nyesha Arrington will be the featured guest chef at the St. Louis Community College Foundation’s 15th annual Falling in Love in Five Courses.

This unique event will be held Saturday, Feb. 11, at the Four Seasons Hotel St. Louis, which is located at 999 N. Second St. in downtown St. Louis.

Arrington will collaborate with Executive Pastry Chef Casey Shiller, St. Louis Community College-Forest Park two-time winner of the Food Network’s “Cupcake Wars,” along with students from the college’s highly-acclaimed culinary arts program, to prepare a remarkable meal that guests will truly enjoy.

Arrington is best known for her accomplishments as a chef, restaurateur, entrepreneur and TV personality, with her most recent show being Fox’s "Next Level Chef" with Gordon Ramsay.

Arrington was introduced to diverse culinary experiences at an early age, which shaped her palate development and perspective of culture-informed cooking.

A graduate of the Culinary School at the Art Institute of California in Los Angeles, Arrington forged her culinary career at Michelin-starred restaurants under direction of chefs that include Joel Robuchon and Josiah Citrin. Following her stints in kitchens such as L'Atelier, The Mansion, Spice Mill, Melisse and The Wilshire, Arrington opened two proprietary concepts with Venice's beachside haven Leona in 2015 and Santa Monica's Native in 2017. Both placed on the late Jonathan Gold's iconic "101 Best Restaurants in Los Angeles" list.

Arrington has also been recognized as a Rising Star by James Beard Award-winning critic Brad Johnson from Angeleno, Chef of the Year by Eater LA, and a Zagat 30 Under 30 recipient in Los Angeles.

Arrington has appeared as a contestant on reality cooking shows such as "Chef Hunter" on Food Network. She was a contestant on Bravo's "Top Chef' and Esquire Network's "Knife Fight;" and later returned as a guest chef judge on both shows. Current projects include the YouTube series "Plateworthy" on Eater, which Arrington hosts; a recurring judge on "Chopped Next Gen" with Discovery+; and a featured judge alongside Ramsay on the new Fox show "Next Level Chef.”

This evening of culinary creativity includes student and alumni speakers, a wine wall and live and silent auctions. All proceeds from the Falling in Love in Five Courses Gala help support St. Louis Community College students and programs.
