Arcadian Infracom, a St. Louis-based fiber infrastructure firm, has expanded its executive team with a new hire.
Arcadian has hired Brock Killen as its first full-time chief financial officer. Killen joins Arcadian after having most recently been president and chief operating officer at Creve Coeur-based Knowink, which provides election technology.
Arcadian, founded in 2018, develops and operates long-haul fiber networks for use by technology companies and carriers. The company, which says it has six long-haul fiber routes in development in the western U.S., has placed a focus on providing fiber access to rural and tribal areas.
“I decided to join Arcadian for many reasons: chief among them their deeply experienced leadership and support team, their first mover advantages in building critical new information infrastructure and the opportunity to be part of a company that’s bringing opportunity to digitally underserved communities,” Killen said in a statement.
Arcadian said in a news release that Killen “brings over 20-plus years’ experience as a strategic, collaborative finance and operations leader.” Prior to Knowink, Killen was senior vice president of finance and business operations for Chicago-based Infinite Convergence Solutions, a provider of messaging and wireless technologies. He had previously served as vice president of business operations for Redwood Shores, California-based technology firm iPass Inc.
“We are excited to add to the Arcadian senior team the high caliber of financial talent that Brock brings to the table to continue along Arcadian’s current high growth trajectory,” Arcadian CEO Dan Davis said.
