Denim Social, a St. Louis-based startup that develops social media software for banks, has added to its management team with a slew of new hires.

With the expansion, Denim Social has added a vice president of strategy and chief revenue officer, both newly created roles at the startup. It has appointed Michael Dalley as chief revenue officer and Nola Morris as its vice president of strategy.

Dalley joined Denim Social after most recently serving as chief revenue officer with San Francisco-based financial technology firm Gainfully. Before taking on her new role at Denim Social, Morris was senior customer success manager of global strategic accounts at New York-based software startup Sprinklr, according to her LinkedIn profile. Before that, she worked for more than a decade at insurance and financial services company Nationwide.

“I’ve been watching Denim Social’s rapid growth for years and am thrilled to join the team,” Morris said. “Regulated industries are underserved and misunderstood, but Denim Social is uniquely positioned to support client success.”

Denim Social provides social media management and marketing software to more than 250 organizations in the banking, insurance, mortgage and wealth management fields. Denim Social formed in April 2020 with the merger of St. Louis startup Gremlin Social and Des Moines, Iowa-based Denim.

In addition to Dalley and Morris, Denim Social said it recently made several other hires. They include the appointment of Christina Trapolino as vice president of solutions engineering; Connor Phillips for the role of marketing manager; and Andrew Newbury as product manager.

“With the addition of our rock star new hires, Denim Social brings unparalleled expertise to the regulated industry clients we serve and tremendous energy to compete in fintech,” said Doug Wilber, CEO at Denim Social.

Denim Social has 40 employees, up from a little more than 20 when Gremlin Social and Denim merged. Its new hires follow a $5 million Series B funding round closed by the startup in October 2021. Denim Social said that financing round valued the company at $30 million.
