8 local businesses make GrowFL Companies to Watch list for 2023



Eight local companies are among the finalists for the GrowFL Florida Companies to Watch Awards, a program that recognizes high-performing second-stage businesses.

“The companies selected... are thriving in an ever-changing business landscape, and their accomplishments inspire others to strive for excellence,” said Jennifer Taylor, president and CEO of GrowFL.

Qualifying businesses must have between six and 150 employees and revenue between $750,000 and $100 million in 2022. The finalist companies are based across Florida and collectively generated nearly $813 million in revenue in 2022.

Based in Orlando, GrowFL is an organization that supports Florida's second-stage companies and their leaders.

The South Florida finalists on the this year's list are:

  • HelixVM, a healthcare company based in Boca Raton.
  • Hollywood Woodwork Inc., a manufacturer based in Hollywood.
  • Loupe Tech, a streaming platform for sports card collectors based in Miami's Wynwood area.
  • Pointer Construction Group, a construction firm headquartered in Fort Lauderdale.
  • PUR-FORM, a medical clinic based in Boca Raton.
  • Spot Pet Insurance, a medical insurance company for dogs and cats headquartered in Miami.
  • Streann Media, a platform that helps users build their own streaming channels and is based in Doral.
  • Weedoo Greenboat, an eco-friendly workboat and weed harvester manufacturer based in West Palm Beach.
