Endeavor Miami selected 10 founding teams from underrepresented backgrounds to join its upcoming EndeavorLab for Latinx Founders.

The program is designed to help early-stage entrepreneurs build a foundation for scale and help them grow their ventures. Eligible companies must be based in Florida, have product market fit and generate between $50,000 and $500,000 in annual revenue.

The cohort is "is an incredible opportunity for Latinx entrepreneurs in Florida to gain support and access to tools and resources they need to grow their businesses," said Claudia Duran, managing director of Endeavor Miami.

Employee benefits firm VensureHR will provide scholarships to cover participation costs for the selected founders. Participants will undergo five weeks of group modules and individual mentorship sessions designed to help them scale their startups. The program will culminate in a pitch to Endeavor's network of entrepreneurs for feedback and exposure.

Latino founders currently receive less than 2% of all venture capital and private equity funding, despite being 1.7 times more likely to start a business than other demographic groups.

"Vensure believes partnering with Endeavor Miami can help bridge that gap by creating a diverse ecosystem of and for Latin business owners across Florida," said VensureHR Sales Enablement and Engagement Specialist Alexandra Blaco.

Endeavor Miami is the first U.S. affiliate of Endeavor, a global nonprofit that has advised over 1,000 businesses in 37 markets across the world. Endeavor Miami's entrepreneurs have gone on to collectively employ more than 5,000 people and generate $800 million in annual revenue, the organization reports.
