Miami Inno is looking for nominations for its inaugural startup bracket challenge, Inno Madness.
The bracket-style challenge is designed to generate awareness and excitement for South Florida startup ecosystem — and those that are driving it forward.
So, how does Inno Madness work? It's easy. Nominate a local startup. We’re looking for private, tech-enabled businesses or companies that support innovation. The Miami Inno team will then assemble brackets based on nominations.
Brackets will be revealed in March and companies will go head-to-head through various rounds in which readers vote to determine who moves on in each matchup. Every week, we’ll post the updated bracket and voting will begin again. The Inno Madness winner will be named at the end of the final round in late March.
A few things to consider when nominating:
- Has the company raised any funding?
- In one sentence, why would you invest in this company (i.e., an interesting concept or product, social impact, long-term potential, etc.)
- What else do you want to share about the company?
