Bitcoin 2022 won't be the only cryptocurrency conference in town next year.

Organizers of the first-ever CryptoWorldCon announced the event is heading to the James L. Knight Center in downtown Miami on April 1-2. The two-day conference will bring industry experts, entrepreneurs and investors together to highlight emerging cryptocurrency, blockchain and mining technologies, according to the event's website.

CryptoWorldCon is being organized by the entity Moonwalker USA Inc., a corporation based in Miami.

Moonwalker USA Inc. representative Pedro Pascal told Miami Inno that Jordan Belfort, the former stockbroker and author of "The Wolf of Wall Street," will be a VIP guest speaker at the event.

There are no speakers currently listed for the event on its website. But tickets are already on sale: Passes start at $199 for a single-day general admission, and go up to $4,999 for a "Platinum Ticket" that includes dedicated security, concierge services and access to the event's private yacht party.

The new event follows the success of Bitcoin 2021, a cryptocurrency conference that brought at least 12,000 enthusiasts to Miami earlier this year. Organizers expect up to 30,000 people will attend when it returns to the Miami Beach Convention Center next April.

Both CryptoWorldCon and Bitcoin 2022 will take place the same month as Miami Tech Week, scheduled for April 17-24. eMerge Americas, South Florida's premier technology conference, will also occur April 18-19 at the Miami Beach Convention Center.
