Reveal Group, an intelligent automation software provider, chose Fort Lauderdale for its second U.S. outpost.

The new office at 501 East Las Olas Blvd. currently has 10 employees. Chief Marketing Office Charley Vokoun told the Business Journal the firm is hiring locally, with plans to onboard at least another 20 employees for the Florida office over the next year.

"We have been doing business in Florida for several years now," she said. "Opening an office in Florida was the logical next step to consolidate our operations here and be closer to our customers."

Reveal Group, headquartered in New York, also has offices in Montreal and Toronto. The company reports demand for its intelligent automation services –  a combination of artificial intelligence, machine learning and process automation used to create efficient workflows – has spiked in recent months as more businesses recover economically from the ravages of the Covid-19 pandemic.

The pandemic accelerated the move to automation as more companies sought to digitize their workflows. According to the World Economic Forum, 80% of corporate executives are speeding up their plans to adopt automation technology and half of employers plan to automate roles at their companies. The trend is leading to a decrease in data entry, accounting and administrative support jobs and businesses use tech to automate those procedures.

“Thanks to our new office, Reveal Group can establish even closer ties with our Florida and Southeast customers and is better positioned to introduce our Intelligent Automation services and our Reveal RoboSuite tools to customers throughout the region,” said Ramon de la Rivaherrera, Reveal Group's Southeast leader.

Reveal Group is hiring consultants in several states, including Florida, Texas, California and North Carolina, according to LinkedIn. It currently has 70 employees across its North American locations.
