The capital will be used to support the startup's expansion efforts in the U.S., the company reports.

Dapta uses artificial intelligence to create apps that automate project management tasks for marketing, finance and development teams.

Co-founder Daniel Ordoñez said the goal is to make advanced technology an everyday tool for small businesses.

"This investment propels us further towards that reality, making AI not just more accessible, but a real game-changer for our users," he added.

In addition to expansion efforts, the startup will use the pre-seed funding to improve the platform's user experience, security and more.

No-code platforms makes it possible for people to build websites, apps and digital tools without having to write code. The platforms typically feature drag and drop elements to make the process easy for users who do not have programming or technical skills.

Giving small businesses the ability to easily create their own digital tools can help those ventures gain more customers and scale, Dapta reports.

Fen Ventures Partner Cristobal Silva said Dapta takes "a process which is time-consuming, costly and tedious for companies" and makes it simple.

"Its commitment to democratizing AI integration marks a pivotal advancement for small to medium-sized businesses, making high-tech solutions accessible," he added.

Dapta reports it serves more than 1,500 businesses across 37 countries. Founded in Colombia, the company has a headquarters in Miami with 14 employees.
