Seattle-based accelerator Spectral Capital Corp. is acquiring Node Nexus Network, a cloud computing company based in Hong Kong.

Spectral expects the deal, which was announced Friday, to close by the end of July, according to a news release.

"This acquisition is a key part of our strategy to drive innovation in quantum computing. NNN's robust infrastructure and pioneering technology are perfect for powering our planned quantum incubator," Spectral CEO Jenifer Osterwalder said in the release.

The companies didn't disclose financial terms of the deal. Spectral didn't respond to questions about the companies, such as how many people they employ or whether NNN's employees will join the combined company.

On its website, Spectral says its accelerator is focused on guiding companies in the quantum computing sector. Quantum computing is an emerging field of computer science that uses quantum mechanics, with the goal of solving problems too complex for traditional supercomputers.

The company says it will offer an artificial intelligence platform and advisers to companies in its accelerator. Acquiring NNN, Spectral said, will power Spectral's accelerator program. Separately, Spectral announced Wednesday it will start trading on the OTCQB, an over-the-counter market, on June 13 under the symbol FCCN.

NNN was founded in 2023, according to its LinkedIn page. The company offers a decentralized cloud. In a video on NNN's website, the company promotes the ability to pay consumers for their data.

"We are to redefining the way data is owned, the internet operates and AI assists," NNN says on its website.
