Seattle-based online travel company Expedia Group Inc. (Nasdaq: EXPE) is losing another executive.
On Thursday, Expedia announced Jon Gieselman, president of its Expedia Brands division, is leaving the company June 1 after three years.
The news comes after Expedia in February announced CEO Peter Kern will step down in May. Ariane Gorin, president of Expedia for Business, is replacing Kern, who took the CEO role in April 2020.
"Jon is a visionary leader in consumer marketing and is leaving our consumer brands in a great position for the future," Kern said in a news release.
Gieselman oversaw Expedia's consumer business and marketing in his role. Brad Bentley will now take over the consumer business as chief operations officer and Jochen Koedijk will take over marketing as chief marketing officer. They will both report to Gorin.
Bentley has held the COO role since October 2022, according to his LinkedIn page, while Koedijk was previously Expedia's senior vice president of marketing, a role he held for about three years.
