Seattle-based sales software company Highspot on Tuesday named Graham Younger president of field operations.

Younger is joining Highspot from Cast & Crew, a software company aimed at the entertainment industry. In his new role with Highspot, Younger will oversee revenue growth and customer satisfaction, according to the company.

"Graham's customer obsession and track record of building and running efficient, profitable revenue teams at a global scale make him an ideal person to lead our field operations as we continue to build an enduring company," Robert Wahbe, Highspot's co-founder and CEO, said in a news release.

Highspot earlier this month laid off about 140 employees, roughly 15% of its full-time staff, in a move to become profitable faster. Wahbe said in a statement at the time the company would name a president of field operations in the coming weeks.

A Highspot spokesperson said Younger is the company's first president of field operations. Younger was chief commercial officer and president at Cast & Crew, where he spent more than four years. Highspot said he oversaw four acquisitions during his time there. Before that, Younger spent two years as president and chief revenue officer at the human resources platform Namely, his LinkedIn page shows. Earlier in his career, he spent time at DreamWorks Animation, Box and Oracle.

Highspot was founded in 2012. The company's software helps sales reps with content management, training and guidance. Its clients include FedEx and DocuSign. Highspot raised $200 million in 2021 and $248 million at the start of 2022, which pushed the company's value to $3.5 billion.

In addition to the jobs cuts earlier this month, Highspot laid off about 10% of its staff in February.

"I'm ready to get to work with this exceptionally talented team to bring Highspot's transformative solution to businesses everywhere," Younger said in the release.
