Bellevue-based work software company UMT360 has been acquired by North Highland, a global consulting firm headquartered in Atlanta, the companies announced Wednesday.
A North Highland spokesperson said UMT360 has about 150 employees, all of whom are joining North Highland as part of the acquisition. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
“The integration of this unique platform into our offerings means we can help organizations more effectively achieve business agility," Alex Bombeck, CEO of North Highland, said in a news release.
The spokesperson said nobody will relocate as part of the deal but North Highland "will revisit consolidated office spaces at a later time."
UMT360 will keep its office space in Bellevue's Symetra Center, according to the company's LinkedIn page.
North Highland now has more than 5,000 employees and over 50 offices, the spokesperson said, and North Highland will absorb the UMT360 brand.
UMT360 was founded in 2013. The company's software helps with resource planning, managing roadmaps, scenario modeling and other management functions. The software integrates with Microsoft Teams, SAP and Oracle. UMT360 has employees in the U.S., Canada and Romania, the spokesperson said.
Catalin Olteanu, UMT360's CEO, spent about four years at Microsoft earlier in his career, his LinkedIn page shows.
North Highland, meanwhile, was founded in 1992. The company offers consulting services in industries like financial services, health care, hospitality and life sciences. Bombeck has been with the North Highland for more than nine years, his LinkedIn page notes, before which he was chief digital officer at the communications group Havas Creative Network.
“Our unique platform represents the intersection between business strategy execution and business enterprise architecture capabilities,” Olteanu said in a release. “We’re excited to combine our software and services with North Highland’s scale and work together to better serve our clients.”
