FleetLogix Inc., a transportation services company headquartered in San Diego, is laying off 120 workers in Washington state due to closures in Tukwila and SeaTac.
The company disclosed the layoffs in a Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification (WARN) filed Tuesday with the state. According to the WARN, the layoffs will begin April 28.
FleetLogix, founded in 2012, didn't respond to requests for more information on the layoffs. It has more than 230 employees listed on LinkedIn.
The company's services include shuttle bus driving, valet, maintenance support and service agents. FleetLogix also offers analytics and labor management, according to its website.
FleetLogix founder and CEO Adam Kimball spent more than three years as a director of the facility services company GCA Services Group, according to his LinkedIn page. ABM, another facility services company, acquired GCA in 2017 for roughly $1.25 billion.
FleetLogix isn't the only company to recently disclose layoffs to the state. On Wednesday, pharmaceutical giant Novo Nordisk disclosed through a WARN it was laying off 86 workers in Seattle. The company also said it is closing its wet-lab activities in Seattle. The Novo Nordisk layoffs will begin at the start of May.
