Seattle-based cloud company Upbound is growing its leadership team.

On Thursday, the company named Oren Teich as its chief product officer and Tom Anthony as vice president of global sales and customer success.

“We’re thrilled to have Oren and Tom join the team and believe this marks a pivotal point in our company's growth,” Bassam Tabbara, founder and CEO of Upbound, said in a news release. “Upbound is on a trajectory to transform the way companies think about their cloud infrastructure."

Teich is joining Upbound from the location data company Foursquare, according to his LinkedIn page, where he spent about a year as senior vice president of product management. Before that, he spent more than four years at Google and was a director of product management. Upbound said in the release he has more than 20 years of experience in cloud technology.

Anthony, meanwhile, previously spent eight years at the identity technology company Okta, according to his LinkedIn page, where his last role was vice president of enterprise sales. His previous experience includes time at the cybersecurity companies Fortinet and Bluebox Security. According to Upbound, Okta grew in annual revenue from less than $20 million to over $1.7 billion during Anthony's tenure.

Upbound, founded in 2017, helps clients manage their tech infrastructure. The company's aim is to make infrastructure management more automated, efficient and reliable. Upbound has raised $69 million since its founding, including a $60 million Series B round in November 2021. Its clients include BMW and American Family Insurance.

Tabbara, meanwhile, spent more than 12 years at Microsoft earlier in his career.

Upbound said in the release it tripled its team over the past year and now has 65 employees globally. Although the company lists Seattle as its headquarters, Upbound calls itself remote-first on its LinkedIn page. Its investors include Altimeter Capital, GV, Intel Capital and Telstra Ventures.
