Bellevue-based cloud software company CoreStack has named Raj Raghavan as its chief human resources officer.

The company said in a Monday news release that the position is a new role, and Raghavan is in charge of CoreStack's global human resources tasks.

“Raj was the natural choice to inspire and lead the most valuable element of CoreStack, our people,” Ezhilarasan Natarajan, CoreStack's founder and CEO, said in a release. “From IndiGo to Amazon to GE, he has dedicated his career to serving the talent of high-achieving, global companies."

Raghavan was previously senior vice president and human resources head at IndiGo, a large passenger airline in India. He spent more than four years at IndiGo, according to his LinkedIn page, before which he spent about seven years at Amazon in different human resources roles.

CoreStack said in the release he spent 10 years at GE and was the human resources lead for GE's global research and India technology centers. Raghavan spent time at Ford and HSBC earlier in his career, according to his LinkedIn page.

CoreStack, founded in 2016, helps clients with cloud costs, security threats and compliance. According to the company, its technology can help accurately predict cloud spending and identify underused assets, which it says are at high risk for hacking.

Its clients include Carhartt, American Eagle Outfitters and 7-Eleven. CoreStack has more than 750 clients, the company says. CoreStack has raised $45 million since its founding, including a $30 million Series B round in November 2021.

The company has open roles in engineering, sales and customer success listed on its website.

"I look forward to contributing and supporting CoreStack as a preferred workplace for technologists, and I can’t wait to improve the workplace experience of CoreStackers all over the world,” Raghavan said in a release.
