Seattle-based real estate fintech Flyhomes on Thursday announced Kayti Sullivan as the company's chief revenue officer, just months after the company's $150 million Series C round.

Sullivan spent more than 12 years at the business review website Yelp, eventually taking the role of senior vice president and general manager of local revenue. According to Flyhomes, she oversaw 3,000 employees at Yelp. She has also been an adviser for Flyhomes since January.

"During my time as an adviser it was evident to me the tremendous opportunity in front of the business, combined with the right leadership team and culture to execute," Sullivan said in a statement. "I believe deeply in the mission of the company and hope to bring my experience scaling teams and operations to a multibillion dollar space that is fundamentally broken from a consumer experience perspective."

After Yelp, Sullivan co-founded a cannabis consultation for women called Molly Jones. After Molly Jones, she spent more than a year at the RealReal, a marketplace for resale luxury goods, where she also held the role of chief revenue officer.

Flyhomes was founded in 2016 and helps consumers present all-cash offers when buying a home. Once moved in, the buyers can secure a mortgage, either through Flyhomes, which has an in-house mortgage team, or through an outside lender. The startup also helps consumers buy a new home before selling their old one.

At the time of the Series C, Flyhomes co-founder and CEO Tushar Garg told the Business Journal the company had about 350 to 400 employees and planned to grow significantly in the next year.

“Kayti is a driven leader with an impeccable track record of delivering outstanding financial results and refining business models to deliver growth,” Garg said in a news release. “Kayti joined Flyhomes as an adviser in January and I was impressed immediately by her leadership instincts and her experience building and growing consumer brands."
