Redmond-based church software company Pushpay on Wednesday announced Kevin Kuck is taking over as chief operations officer. Kuck replaces Don Harms as COO, who left the company in March.

“Kevin has been a pivotal part of Pushpay’s growth and corporate development journey over the years,” Molly Matthews, Pushpay’s CEO, said in a statement. “He brings invaluable technical knowledge to our organization, and as we look to the future of our company, his thoughtful leadership approach will be vital as we continue to build world-class teams and solutions for our customers.”

Kuck's appointment is just one of multiple executive moves at Pushpay recently. Matthews took over the CEO role in March, replacing interim CEO Bruce Gordon, who had held the position since June 2019.

Pushpay on Wednesday also announced it is looking for a new chief financial officer to be based in the company's Redmond office, as current CFO Shane Sampson is leaving the company in October.

Kuck has been with Pushpay for about seven years. Prior to becoming the COO, Kuck was the company's senior vice president of operations, a role he took in 2018. Kuck led IT and operations through the integration process after Pushpay's 2019 acquisition of Church Community Builder, the company said.

Sampson has been Pushpay's CFO since 2015. Pushpay, which has a New Zealand office in Auckland, announced Sampson's resignation in July and said he is accepting "a new opportunity at another New Zealand-based company."

Harms, meanwhile, is now the founder and president of a digital tool aimed at executives and their assistants called Emmre, according to his LinkedIn profile.

Pushpay, founded in 2011, helps churches create apps, manage digital giving and connect with members. The company also works with nonprofits and schools. According to Pushpay's annual meeting presentation from June, the company has 11,099 total customers and 405 employees.

"We are always looking to expand the product suite that we offer our customers and our prospective customers," Matthews previously told the Business Journal. "That is something we will continue to do throughout this year."
