Seattle-based productivity startup Zuper has raised a $13 million Series A round.
Fuse, which counts Seattle Seahawks star linebacker Bobby Wagner as a venture partner, led the round, announced Friday. Other investors include Sequoia Capital India, Prime Venture Partners and HubSpot Ventures.
“We concluded the last year with significant wind in our sails as we continue to further Zuper’s founding vision to empower service businesses with the tools and technology they need to maximize operational efficiency,” Anand Subbaraj, CEO of Zuper, said in a news release.
Zuper works with a variety of industries, including cleaning, pool maintenance, landscaping and roofing to help clients manage their field service teams. The startup, which was founded in 2016, offers software to help with scheduling, dispatching, estimates and work orders. In addition to Seattle, the company has offices in India and the Middle East, and its clients include Ikea and Vodafone.
A company spokesperson said Zuper currently has 55 employees but plans to double that number in a year. The company has raised $14.1 million total since its founding.
Zuper plans to put the money toward sales, marketing, product and partnerships. On its website, Zuper has open roles in engineering and customer success.
“The company’s product market fit coupled with a strong executive team has enabled Zuper to become a category-leading field service software provider with global scale, customer-driven growth and a robust ecosystem of partners across the entire service management tech stack," Kellan Carter, general partner at Fuse, said in a news release. "We see significant opportunities for Zuper to continue delivering tangible ROI for its customers.”
A company spokesperson said Zuper went remote in Seattle during the pandemic but plans to open a physical office this year as the company grows.
