It's time for some friendly competition in the Seattle-area tech scene.

Seattle Inno is unveiling its 2022 Inno Madness competition in March, and we need readers to nominate which companies will participate. The competition is a bracket-style tournament, with votes from readers like you determining which companies move on to the next round.

For each matchup, we'll ask readers to vote for the company they feel is a better investment. Maybe the company will provide better returns, or maybe it has a social mission that could make a positive impact. The company in each head-to-head matchup that receives the most votes will advance. After every round, the Inno team will showcase the advancing companies in a recap post.

Nominated companies should be private, innovative companies in the Puget Sound region. The Inno team will use the nominations to come up with the bracket, which will be revealed in March.

When submitting a nomination, please include relevant information about the company. Funding rounds, market potential, leadership and growth, for example, would all help Inno editors find the best nominations.

2022 Inno Madness is a competition, but it's not all about winning. The challenge is meant to promote the region's vibrant tech and innovation ecosystem through friendly competition. The deadline to nominate companies is Feb. 6, so don't delay.
