What does your company/project do? Spira is a no-code tool that makes it easy to create smart forms. Smart forms are "smart" because they can adapt to health care patients over time to ask the right questions.
How did you come up with the idea? Sage (Spira co-founder) and I met at the University of Washington after leaving high school after 10th grade. Both having family in health care, we'd seen that health care tools were antiquated. The truth is that, when it comes to tech, health care is stuck in the 20th century, and this inspired us to start Spira.
What advice do you have for young entrepreneurs? Take risks. When you're young is the best time to take risks. As time goes on, you'll likely have more responsibilities and more people that depend on you. Some risks may not pay off, but the worst-case scenario is that you've learned something.
Other interests? I play tennis in my free time. Having a balance in life is important, and tennis is what keeps me going.
