What does your company/project do? Chromata is a platform that allows businesses to issue credentials that can be tracked on the blockchain to customers and partners.
How did you come up with the idea? Chromata started off as a fundraising platform with our own auditing and tracking requirements for which blockchain was a good fit. We built much of the tool internally before pivoting to offer that as a platform.
What advice do you have for young entrepreneurs? I think that most young entrepreneurs, including myself, gravitate to building our own businesses as we don't fit the mold that incumbents look for. But there isn't really an age requirement to build valuable products. I'd say just stick with it when it gets tough because entrepreneurship isn't the simple path forward, but it's incredibly rewarding.
Other interests? I am a huge sports fan, and being from Ohio means I'm a big Buckeyes and Browns fan.
