Three Bay Area companies made it into the top 10 of Fast Company's list of Best Places to Work for Innovators, which was released Wednesday.
Those companies and their rankings are:
No. 3 — Carrot Fertility Inc, Menlo Park. Why them: Carrot Fertility offers "a monthlong onboarding deep dive into fertility issues, including the LGBTQIA+ community and family-forming options," according to Fast Company.
No. 4 — Ampere Computing LLC, Santa Clara. Why them: The microprocessor company, in less than five years, "says it has produced a chip that offers twice the compute power of conventional CPUs while using half the energy," Fast Company said.
No. 9 — Adobe Inc., San Jose. Why them: "While many companies claim to be working toward pay equity solutions, Adobe has already achieved global gender pay parity as well as equal compensation for underrepresented minority groups," Fast Company said, adding that last year it expanded its recruiting from historically black colleges and universities.
The list, which Fast Company compiled in partnership with Accenture, "recognizes more than 150 companies that understand vitally important breakthroughs can occur on the loading dock, not just in a corner office."
Other Bay Area companies that made the list include: Aisera Inc, Palo Alto (22); DPR Construction Inc, Redwood City (40); RingCentral Inc, Belmont (47); Tau Motors Inc, Redwood City (51), and Protiviti Inc, Menlo Park (54).
Earlier this year, the Silicon Valley Business Journal and the San Francisco Business Times released their own ranking of the Bay Area's Best Places to Work. Click here to check it out.
