More than two dozen Bay Area startups focused on a range of health tech products have raised more than $1.4 billion in the past 30 days, according to Crunchbase data.
The largest round went to Omada Health, a San Francisco-based health coaching app focused on helping members manage chronic conditions like diabetes and hypertension. It raised a $192 million Series E led by Fidelity Management & Research Company.
But around half of the fundings were early stage.
On Monday, Homeward Health announced a $20 million Series A. The San Francisco startup is focused on delivering health care to rural communities via a combination of telehealth services, remote monitoring and in-person mobile teams.
In February, Memora Health said it raised a $40 million round for its platform that aims to streamline patient care for complex health conditions so that they remain supported in between doctor's visits.
A couple of startups don't cater to humans, at all.
Palo Alto-based FidoCure is creating personalized cancer care for dogs that goes beyond chemotherapy and radiation. It raised an undisclosed amount on March 4, but has raised at least $15 million since 2017, according to Crunchbase.
And Dutch is providing telehealth veterinary services for dog and cat parents. The Oakland-based, Jimmy Fallon-backed company announced a $20 million Series A in February.
