Early Money: Santa Clara cybersecurity startup gets $20M in Accel, Sequoia Series A deal

Early Money each Thursday rounds up all of the Series A funding rounds raised by Bay Area startups in the past week. Here are the latest six as of Sept. 22:

Almanac Labs Inc., San Francisco, $34 million: Tiger Global Management led the Series A round for developer of collaboration-oriented productivity software for remote teams. Floodgate and General Catalyst also participated.

Stairwell Inc., Santa Clara, $20 million: Accel and Sequoia Capital led the Series A round for this cybersecurity startup.

Ketch Kloud Inc., San Francisco, $20 million: Acrew Capital led the Series A1 round for this provider of privacy compliance software. The round came just six months after the startup raised a $23 million round. CRV, super[set], Ridge Ventures and Silicon Valley Bank also participated.

Rune Labs Inc., San Francisco, $22.8 million: Eclipse Ventures led the Series A funding of this developer of precision medicines for neurodegenerative and psychiatric disorders. DigiTx and Moment Ventures also invested.

Mutiny HQ Corp., San Francisco, $18.5 million: Sequoia Capital led the Series A round for this provider of a service that allows companies to personalize their websites for individual customers. Cowboy Ventures and Uncork Capital also invested.

DeepFactor Inc., San Jose, $15 million: Insight Partners led the Series A funding of this provider of software that allows businesses to monitor the security of their cloud-based apps. Tricentis, Emergent Ventures and Security Leadership Capital also participated.
