  • Founded: 2019
  • Founders: Lindsey Hoell, CEO; Maia Tekle, head of sales and partnerships
  • What it does: Helps businesses reduce packaging waste through a reusable container program.
  • HQ: San Francisco
  • Employees: 16
  • Total funding: $6.2 million

What’s your elevator pitch in seven words? Making reuse plug-and-play for businesses.

What was the “aha” moment behind your startup? Every customer we spoke with told us that they had been hoarding freezer packs through the pandemic. We knew that there was a demand for gel packs from businesses, and the supply was in consumers’ freezers.

Who are your customers? Direct-to-consumer product companies that are particularly (but not exclusively) in the food space.

How different is the company today compared to what you first envisioned? We started with restaurants but now work with much larger businesses.

How do you plan to scale? Working with companies that have a presence in other markets, so that we can have predictable revenue when we launch in new regions.
